A 40-minute treatment which involves inserting microinjections of polynucleotides into the scalp to restore volume to hair and stimulate hair follicles to encourage regrowth.
One of the most innovative new treatments on the market, polynucleotides are able to regenerate hair follicles to stimulate hair growth after just a few treatments thanks to their bio-stimulatory properties.
Polynucleotides are long chains of DNA. Sourced from fish DNA, these highly purified fragments of DNA are suspended in water and available as an injectable with incredible properties of regeneration in the skin and hair.
This treatment is advised as part of an 8-course programme. The first 4 sessions are carried out 2 weeks apart, and the following 4 sessions take place 4 weeks apart.
Mesotherapy with polynucleotides for hair can be booked as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other hair and scalp treatments at The HVN to enhance results. Your designated practitioner can develop a bespoke treatment programme for you on request.
Cautions and care
The injections into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) are very superficial, so there is no downtime after treatment.
As polynucleotides are derived from fish, this treatment is not suitable for vegans or clients with a fish allergy.
